We drop off at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center and it’s just a short walk to the Stadium.  The fare is $12 per person each way, or $20 Round Trip.  Buses are first-come, first-serve and stop at the South Bend/ Roseland, Indiana area hotels listed below:

No.  We do not accept advanced reservations.

Should front desk personnel call the drivers to tell them if people are waiting?

No, again the bus is on a route and will make stops at each hotel.  If no one is waiting, the bus will proceed to its next stop.

Does Tim’s Tours take credit cards for payment?

No, drivers can only collect cash payments.  You may pay $12 for a one-way trip or $20 for round trip.  If you pay for the round trip option, you will be given a token which is good for the return trip after the concert.

What happens if the shuttle gets full on the way to Notre Dame?

Each shuttle is first-come, first-serve and is on a route with multiple stops.  Due to the popularity of our shuttle, there is a possibility that it may become full.  If that happens, if one of the other shuttles isn't full, it can come to pickup remaining guests.  If that isn't an option, you may need to wait for the next shuttle pickup time.  Peak ridership TO THE concert is two to three hours prior to kick off.  To avoid capacity and space concerns, we recommend taking the first available shuttle early in the day.

Where does the shuttle drop off at Notre Dame?

For South Bend/ Roseland hotels, our shuttle will drop off and pick up exclusively at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center.  The shuttle runs more efficiently with one pickup and drop off location.

What time(s) do the return shuttles leave Notre Dame (post-concert)?

-When Bus is Full or 15 minutes post-concert
-When Bus is Full or 30 minutes post-concert
-1 hour post-concert
-1 hour & 30 minutes post-concert
-2 hours post-concert (LAST SHUTTLE)

Return shuttle times are also posted on the flyer located at the front desk of each hotel.  If a bus fills up prior to its listed time, it will depart early, which is typical for the first departing shuttles after the concert ends.  Each shuttle is first-come, first-serve.

Will we have to wait for a shuttle after the concert ends?

The first post-concert shuttles typically fill up fast and take the most time to return to campus due to peak ridership and heavy traffic caused by 80,000 people leaving the stadium at the end of the concert.  If you prefer a shorter ride back to your hotel, it is highly recommended that you grab dinner or a beverage & plan on taking the shuttle 2 hours after the concert ends (when fewer people ride and traffic levels return to normal).  If there are no buses waiting, please be patient as shuttles will return to campus as soon as possible up to 2 hours after the concert ends.

Can we take a shuttle back to our hotel before the concert starts?

You may catch one of the shuttles dropping off at Notre Dame and ride it back on its next round of pickups.  *Note, the last shuttle TO the concert does not return to the hotels-you must catch one of the earlier shuttles.

An example of a fun day on the Tim's Tours bus as we tour the Baroda Michigan area:

We’ll begin our Southwest Michigan Wine Country Tour in the late morning.  It’s a good idea to have lunch before arriving so you don’t taste on an empty stomach – and feel free to bring a few snacks and water for the bus too!

We can start at Gravity Winery to enjoy a signature wine flight pairing!  Try a glass of sweetly blended summer fruit called Michigan Magnetism, a bubbly glass of carbonated seyval blanc called Liquid Gold, or even a glass of hard apple cider!  Their tasting room opened in 2011 and is one of the hot spots on the wine trail.  You may even get to meet their official greeter, Ollie (the dog).

Next we'll head to Lemon Creek Winery and Fruit Farm where they have over 150 years of family experience in growing grapes and fruit. They make great tasting fruity wines - check them out!  Be sure to try their popular semi-sweet white wine, Silver Beach Sauterne.  You even get to keep the souvenir glass!  During the fruit season the farm market is open and is a great source for fresh picked fruit; everything from cherries, apples, peaches, apricots, blueberries, plums and more!  Next we'll make our way to downtown Baroda!

Our last stop will be at Baroda Founder's Wine Cellar, the fun winery where you can even saddle up... you’ll see!  This winery was ‘founded” by Leonard Olson, who was the original Tabor Hill winemaker.  Don’t miss their dessert wines, like their "Smorleaux", which has a milk chocolate flavor with a hint of marshmallow and slightly sweet Merlot characteristics.

This describes a Baroda area tour however we also visit wineries in the Coloma area like Vineyard 2121, which opened in 2015, 12 Corners Vineyards, or for smaller groups, Contessa Wine Cellars.  To get a full Southwest Michigan Wine tour, consider visiting Michigan's oldest continuously operated winery-St. Julian Winery or Michigan's second oldest winery, Warner Vineyards; both of which are located in Paw Paw, MI.

The above is an example of a fun day on the Lake Michigan Shore Wine Trail but there are many other wineries available.  We can plan your wine tour, or you are free to make your own, custom itinerary.

What a fun and relaxing day!  We’ll take a bus ride to some of the top micro breweries in Southwst Michigan.  Sundays are the best day to avoid large crowds.  If you start early, you'll be able to have a nice dinner before coming home and getting ready for the work week ahead.  Relax with friends over a beer and enjoy the tour! 

We'll leave just before Noon.   We recommend that everyone has a bite to eat before doing a micro tour.  You can even bring along a lunch on the bus.  Our first stop will be at Watermark Brewing Company located in historic downtown Stevensville, MI.  

 

 

Watermark opened in 2016 and feature several rotating beers on tap.  They've got great outdoor space to enjoy when the weather is nice with a matching atmosphere.  Certain weekends feature rotating food trucks as well as live music and other seasonal events.

Next we'll stop at Tapistry Brewing Company in Bridgman, MI.  Along with great beers, Tapistry also has a full kitchen.  We recommend trying the "Brew-ben" (Rueben) sandwich!  They also have a nice deck on the backside of the building which was recently expanded.

 

Our last stop will combine more beer tasting with dinner at Haymarket Brewing.  You can grab a freshly prepared wood-fired pizza while enjoying your favorite beer.  By now you will probably know which type you really like the best.  After that, you’ll be ready to relax and ride the bus home, telling your friends about your favorite brewery and beer for the day.

We’ll drop you off just in time to do those last few things you need to get done before turning in and starting a new work week.
