Whether you need transportation for a group while visiting South Bend to see the area’s points of interest that includes the University of Notre Dame, Elkhart county’s famed Amish Country or the Southwest Michigan Wine Country, Tim’s Tours can handle it with one of his tour busses. If you need wedding transportation services or a bus for special events and parties, we work very well with our customers to personalize every event to help make it a great one!
The Michiana area serves as host to many groups that arrive for conventions, conferences and athletic events and if there is a need to show these visitors the area or just shuttle them from one spot to another, Tim’s Tours can handle that with ease.
Day trips to the Chicagoland area for shopping, to Grand Rapids and Holland for festivals and concert events, Indianapolis for athletics and the zoo or maybe even a race plus numerous other places for youth group outings; all can be a day trip out and back with no worries about driving safely there and back. There are dozens of great places to enjoy within 150 miles of South Bend!
Having had this Tim’s Tours bus business now for 6 years it’s time for me to slow down a bit and introduce a new Tim’s Tours member: Matt Sayer. Matt partnered up with me this past summer with his Gray Monster bus and we handled the football season well among other events. He’ll soon be taking over the business – still Tim’s Tours – and I’ll be working with him to continue to provide excellent service to our repeat customers as well as those new to us. I look forward to this new challenge!
I still believe there is a real need for affordable transportation for senior groups to have outings, for church youth groups to have safe transportation to regional events and for visitors to have a cost- effective method of seeing what our community is all about when they are here for conventions or athletic events. I think I have used the business these past years to make a real positive impact in the Michiana community and have had lots of fun meeting new people! To my many friends: thank you so much for your continued support!
I have really enjoyed working with our community leaders at the Chamber of Commerce and the Visit South Bend/Mishawaka bureau and want to continue that relationship because as a lifelong resident I have had the pleasure of seeing this community rebound from a near total collapse when the Studebaker Corporation went out of business. As a kid, growing up in the shadow of the golden dome was just great, and it was on account of the strength of the University of Notre Dame along with some very savvy community leaders that the area has survived and now is home to a multitude of new, small businesses. As our community leaders continue to attract new companies to the area, I’ll still be available to show new folks around and give them just a little bit of the wonderful history we have here and enable them to see some really interesting places. This has been my favorite part of Tim’s Tours!
But if it’s a group event to visit Michigan wineries or regional micro breweries you’re interested in, a shopping trip to the Magnificent Mile in Chicago or having wedding or party transportation services, Tim’s Tours will still be your go to company to provide the best personalized service in the area!
